This is a personal journal, not a personal brand. A place for long ideas and passing thoughts, books with bent corners, films that linger, and the songs in between.

I like the places where different interests meet: code and craft, a beautiful image and a difficult question, the things we make and the things that make us.

There is a quiet thread of Indian philosophy here, too. More a habit of inquiry than a set of answers: paying attention, questioning what feels obvious, leaving room for not knowing.

You will find essays and technical notes, short thoughts, projects in progress, and a library of books, films, series, and music.

There is no particular order to follow. Start anywhere.

About this little website

Jigyasa is a personal blog for sharing ideas, interests, and works in progress. A simple layout leaves room for the writing, with the warmth and quiet detail of a printed page.

Parchment, warm charcoal, clay-colored accents, and a little movement. Writing and projects share a two-color block-print style: playful carved shapes, dark ink, and vermilion on paper. These and the library cover studies are original, AI-assisted SVG designs, not official book or album artwork.

Rust reads the Markdown and checks its metadata. Astro turns it into fast, readable pages. A small amount of TypeScript handles filtering and the color theme. No autoplay, no tracking, and no pop-up asking for your attention.

This site still includes sample entries, each labeled as an example. The name and introduction are editable in src/site.ts. Replace the remaining examples with your own writing, commentary, and images before publishing.
